Your Plan = Your Choice

Many people are interested in NDIS Mackay support services but aren’t sure where to start, or how to navigate funding for their plan. This is where plan managers can come in handy.

Services such as MADEC can support you to manage funding in your NDIS plan. An NDIS Plan Manager is responsible for the financial management of your NDIS plan. They handle paperwork and oversee financial details, but you still have the flexibility to choose and arrange your supports.

A plan manager can help you:

  • Increase your financial and plan management skills
  • Learn how to self-manage your plan
  • Pay providers
  • Increase your choice of providers
  • Get NDIS plan budget reports and greater budget oversight.

If you or a loved one have allocated budget for a plan manager in your NDIS plan, then you are eligible to work with a Plan Manager. If you are wanting help with the bureaucratic areas of your funding like invoices, budget, or other administration that proves a challenge, a Plan Manager is the perfect support for you.

Plan management fees do not come out of your support budget. They are calculated in addition to your care needs and paid for separately by the NDIS. This means that there is no out of pocket cost to you.

Plan management is when a provider supports you to manage funding in your NDIS plan. These providers are known as plan managers.

Plan management is different from having the NDIA manage funding in your NDIS plan, or you choosing to self-manage your plan.

A plan manager can help you:

  • Increase your financial and plan management skills
  • Learn how to self-manage your plan
  • Pay providers
  • Increase your choice of providers
  • Get NDIS plan budget reports and greater budget oversight
  • Can lodge your claims for yoI

A plan manager will pay providers for supports delivered. A plan manager will help you monitor your funds, and provide financial reporting.

A support coordinator will support you to understand and implement supports included in your plan. A support coordinator will link you to providers and other community and government services. A support coordinator will also support you to build skills and direction.

A Plan Manager can do this for you, and so much more.

You still have full control of your plan, and goals. You can adjust or change these at any time. Your Plan Manager will help you achieve your goals by connecting you with the right providers.
