WILLS AND BEQUESTS

MADEC’s charitable endeavours are made possible by the generosity of donors. A bequest in your Will – no matter how big or small – is a lasting legacy of kindness that ensures that MADEC will always be there for those in our community who need a helping hand. You have the power to change lives with a bequest to charity.

Deciding what you wish to give

If you would like to include a gift to MADEC in your Will to care for future generations, thank you. Here are some options:

  • A percentage of your estate: You can leave MADEC your entire estate or any percentage you choose.
  • The remainder of your estate: After you have taken care of loved ones, you can leave MADEC the whole or part of what remains of your estate.
  • A specific gift in your will: You can give a specific amount of money or items such as shares, paintings, or property. However, this does not allow for changes in your circumstances or inflation.

HOW WE'RE GIVING BACK

In the past 50 years, our organisation has received several generous donations allowing us to build essential community infrastructure such as the John E. Smith Respite Home.

Looking forward to 2023 and beyond, MADEC is committed to delivering another affordable and accessible housing project for our region. This project will encompass approx. 20 dwellings over the next 5 years. This vital project will provide affordable and accessible long-term housing options for those most in need.

We are so proud to be celebrating our milestone 50 years with the launch of such an integral project for the community. We invite you to share in our celebrations and contribute in any way you can.
