Active in the Community
MADEC is active in the community through various committees and keeps up to date with current events enabling us to benefit our clients needs.
MADECs awareness for needs within the community instigated the introduction of the Access Card. Applications for the Access Card are available at MADEC.
It is through the community participation model that MADEC are continuing to expand on the range of services offered, not only by MADEC but within the Mackay Region.
MADEC provides individual personalised support to service users. Access to health care consultants and therapists is also available.
MADEC likes to provide a caring family atmosphere for service users and hosts various functions and barbecues during the year.
Staff
MADEC employs staff qualified in Cert III in Community Services (Disability) or trainees completing the above qualification.
